Current Need Position Summary: The Medical Billing Implementation Specialist/Project Manager works in conjunction with multiple teams to implement and support customers using the TotalView product . The Medical Billing Implementation Specialist/Project Manager is the key technical resource during the implementation phase and is responsible for successful set-up, data mappings, testing, and custom programming prior to, during, and after go-live. This is a key role in establishing and maintaining client satisfaction. Responsible for performing the installation, servicing, and repair of complex systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. This position will be responsible for implementation, customer support, management of customer on-boarding, adoption, and training concerning the Ontada Total View product as well as being responsible for overall accurate record keeping, trend analysis, and statistical information development. Key Responsibilities: TotalView Implementation Consults with customer on TotalView implementation requirements and serve as the main point of contact throughout the implementation process Perform/track multiple customer implementations at the same time Coordinate with third party vendors to facilitate data connectivity and ensure required data is being provided for TotalView Responsible for timely communication in with internal and external customers, to achieve on-time go lives Train users Responsible for documenting and enhancing the implementation and support processes for TotalView Works on projects that often involve network, server or software implementation and upgrades Provides implementation support such as installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and training Coordinates the deinstallation of TotalView for practices who no longer require using the product TotalView Education/Training Provide training on TotalView for internal users and new/existing TotalView customers Assist with analytics and creates assessments to support sales efforts Responsible for the delivery of self-contained education products Responsible for creating, updating and managing TotalView training materials TotalView Customer Support & Connectivity Provide timely/accurate answers to customer questions Ensure proper recording, documentation and closure of problem resolution and conversations to create detailed log of incidents through Lynx System Admin Analyzes TotalView data and manages internal reporting tool Provides support to customers in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving product-related issues Provides guidance on product features, and configuration options Gathers information and reports on design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs Create and generate ad-hoc reports to both internal and external customers Responsible for identifying, monitoring, and restoring data connections for practices that have had a loss in data due to a disconnect or data interruption Act as primary point of contact with ancillary vendors in order to restore data issues and problem resolution Assist sales executives with their QBR (Quarterly Business Reports) TotalView Product Support Helps gather customer feedback, business requirements & rules, functional requirements, workflows, dependencies (functional, system), roles and responsibilities Assess reimbursement trends, historic reports, and data integrity as needed Sets up and assists in the ongoing maintenance TotalView data including but not limited to procedure codes, diagnosis codes, insurance/payor files, pricing plans, and provider files Seeks out changes in payer guidelines, including fee schedule acceptance testing Maintains strict confidentiality of patient and financial information in assigned area of responsibility and understands applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities General Abilities Ability to work independently, identify opportunities for operational improvement and drive projects to completion Able to establish relationships with customers remotely and be recognized as a product expert Undertake and lead special projects as requested by manager Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 3 - 5 years' experience in IT project management, support, or implementation with a minimum of 2 years in software implementation Critical Skills Very strong medical office reimbursement, billing/collections, and payor relations related work experience Experience with medical billing software and interfaces either as vendor employee or medical practice employee Knowledge of medical billing in oncology and/or other medical specialties detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, collaborative, customer focused and able to create visible value to product, ability to act as an interface for business users, technology, and support teams Customer service and training experience Proficiency using one or more practice management or EMR systems Specialized Knowledge/Skills Project management in healthcare environment with superior familiarity of claims processing and remit processing Healthcare IT experience Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with significant visibility to the client executive teams Strong foundation in project management principles, processes, and methodology Must have strong and effective communication and presentation skills for effective communication and presentation skills for external client facing as well as internal communications Maintains strict confidentiality of patient and financial information in assigned area of responsibility and understands applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities Additional Skills: Experience in revenue cycle management/financial analysis preferred Proficiency in SmartSheet, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint Strong written and oral communication skills Experience with conflict resolution, resource allocation, and prioritization Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with significant visibility to the client executive teams Strong foundation in project management principles, processes, and methodology Must have strong and effective communication and presentation skills for effective communication and presentation skills for external client facing as well as internal communications Maintains strict confidentiality of patient and financial information in assigned area of responsibility and understands applicable laws and regulations as they relate to assigned responsibilities Education: - This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
