Job Description:
SUMMARY:The primary responsibility of the Junior Accountant is
to lead month-end and year-end closing process including
intercompany transactions, closing journal entries, balance sheet
reconciliations, property tax and 1042. - The Junior Accountant
will also ensure compliance with federal, state and local legal
requirements by researching existing and new legislation,
consulting with outside vendors and filing financial
reportsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guides financial decisions by
establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and
procedures.Protects assets by establishing, monitoring and
enforcing internal controls.Lead month-end and year-end closing
process including intercompany transactions, balance sheet
reconciliations, closing journal entries. Reports
monthly/quarterly/yearly close duties and reports to Manager and
Head Quarters Maximizes return and limits risk on cash by
minimizing cash balances and making investments.Supports preparing
tax return, property tax, sales and use tax, 1042, etc. with tax
consultants.Provides status of financial condition of the company
by collecting, interpreting and reporting key financial
data.Ensures compliance with federal, state and local legal
requirements by researching existing and new legislation,
consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.
Advises management of actions and potential risks.Arranges for
audits as required and appropriate.Manages budget and controls
expenses effectively.Manages Cash flow of the company by monthly
cash flow projection.Take ownership on ad-hoc projects as requested
by management. Supervises and directs work of Account Payable
Specialists.(both OP and PO)Bills to Customers if necessary MINIMUM
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.Must
be proficient in reading, writing and speaking of English and
Korean.Previous experience working in manufacturing environment
preferred. Knowledge of food, supplement, pharmaceutical industry
preferred. Experience with MS Office Suite.Must possess strong
organizational and communication skills.Detail-oriented, ability to
multi-task and prioritize tasks with strict deadlines.Able to use
logic and reasoning to identify solutions to problems.Takes
initiative and seeks additional training or direction as
needed.Must be willing to abide by Cosmax NBT USA's policies and
procedures, including those that are safety-related. Self-motivated
individual willing to work hard, able to work in a group and alone,
and be quality conscious. Demonstrates a professional, team first
attitude toward work and co-workers.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or
Finance required. (CPA preferred)Minimum of one to two years'
experience in accounting function. (preferred) Minimum of two years
of SAP experience (preferred) Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS.
(preferred) Must be proficient in reading, writing and speaking of
English and Korean (required).Previous experience working in
manufacturing environment preferred. Knowledge of food, supplement,
pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience with MS Office

Constant physical activities are required for this position. -Able
to tolerate working environment with inside hot and cold
temperatures.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Activities include: ability to reach
overhead, squat, and bend at the waist; the ability to lift up to
50 pounds or more; ability to climb up and down stairs throughout a
shift; tolerance of standing posture continuously during shift;
intense walking is involved. Dexterity for manipulating work
materials; repetitive motion; proficiency in reading, writing and
speaking English. Ability to respond to safety signals, such as
