Job Description:

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations, within Corporate Marketing. In this role, youll partner with our Experiential Marketing team who are also part of Corporate Marketing. The Experiential team focuses on webinars, virtual briefings, and local (physical) briefings. These types of events range from 30 minutes to several hours, and are designed to get prospects excited about the potential of being a Gartner client! This team also works closely with Sales on the process & technology to allow Sales reps to nominate prospects who are seriously considering becoming a client, to attend a Gartner event for free. What you will do:

  • Partner with the Experiential Marketing team to drive the business forward using process & technology
  • Work closely with the IT department to solve challenges with our current technologies
  • Leverage your peers in Marketing Operations & Marketing Analytics to get the job done
  • Look for new and innovative technologies that could drive an amazing attendee experience, present the best technologies back to the Experiential team, and get the chosen ones implemented
  • Gather business requirements, and form them into concise documents for our IT department and MarTech vendors, and see them through signoff, User Acceptance Testing, launch, and communication
  • Look for any and all processes that can be simplified & streamlined, and make it happen
    What you will need:
    • Bachelors degree in marketing, events, or a related field
    • Enterprise experience working with a large Sales team, IT department, and high volume of events
    • Project management & organization skills using modern-day technologies such as Workfront or Asana
    • Software development experience with agile, scrum, stories, epics, and corresponding technologies like Jira
    • Experience with data visualization software such as Microsoft Power BI, or Tableau
    • Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms (Eloqua, Marketo, or Pardot) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
    • Hands on SQL experience to frequently pull data from data tables across a wide range of databases
    • A love for data and making data-backed decisions
    • A positive attitude with a deep passion for questioning the status quo, and plowing through roadblocks
    • A knack for wrangling lots of different teams together, getting consensus, and seeing things through to completion
