Director of Marketing & Communications
Location: Remote
We are seeking a passionate marketing professional who wants to
partner with our team to drive Our Client's future growth. Do you

The successful candidate will be responsible for: developing and
executing marketing programs across our client that raise the
profile of practice groups, help acquire new clients and new
business development opportunities, influence public perception,
maintain a positive brand reputation, and expand existing client
relationships.
Role And Responsibilities
Business Growth (40%)
Firmwide Integrated Marketing: Provide strategic direction to all
marketing, business development, and communications activities
across the client in alignment with and support of practice-level
marcom activities. Lead Generation: Work in conjunction with Senior
Management to develop, execute, and expand business development
efforts tied to annual business plans/goals for our client's
practice groups; collaborate with practice leaders (P&L owners)
to drive more revenue for our client and increase lead generation
streams. Client Marketing Support: Participate in our client's
strategic planning activities with respect to evaluation and
improvement of our client's various marketing and collateral;
collaborate with a project team to play a marketing role as we seek
to leverage enhanced/upgraded presentation and other materials to
support the growth and results for our clients. Market
Segmentation: Define and disseminate clear positioning and
messaging for our client and its practice groups; actively develop
and maintain a deep understanding of the banking, financial
services, and technology markets and the competitive position of
our client's practice groups; leverage market knowledge to drive
positioning strategy and identify ways to distinguish our client
and its service offerings across its Events, Advisory, and
Investment Banking practices. Executive Thought Leadership: Partner
with Senior Management to market the services and expertise of the
practice groups through the development and deployment of thought
leadership content, speaking opportunities, podcasts, and other
profile-raising activities; identify "hot topics" or niche areas
for our client to embrace in thought leadership channels. Events
Marketing: Support the marketing activities across our client's
event portfolio with a holistic approach toward branding,
marketing, collateral, website, email, social, and external
communications.
Marketing (20%)
Online Engagement: Coordinate with existing marketing resources on
all aspects of our client's social media accounts including:
creating strategy, posting content, engaging with users, and
managing their brand; manage or support practice groups with online
marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, advertising, and more.
Brand Assets: Interface directly with practice groups and team
leaders to lead the review, revision, and continuous improvement of
our clients suite of marketing materials such as pitch templates,
executive profiles, practice descriptions, brochures, website
content (internal and external), and other collateral.
Copywriting (20%)
Written Content: Assist with writing clear, attractive copy that
represents our clients brand voice for practice-level marcom
activities by writing templates, reviewing copy, and coaching
executives to make content compelling with clear CTAs. Campaigns:
Propose new copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking
to practice groups and team leaders; lead messaging conversations
around testing against control to improve sales funnel and email
performance. Online Platforms: Write SEO-rich content that will
drive organic audiences to our clients products and services;
deliver conversion-oriented copy for landing pages and other online
channels. Quality Assurance: Proofread written and digital products
for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, usage, consistency, and
brand voice.
Communications (20%)
Direct Marketing: Manage our client's outbound communications
program to provide regular outreach and status updates to its
current and potential clients; highlight through multiple touch
points our clients closed deals, client successes, and value
proposition. Public Relations: Prepare and manage public relations
activities and communications for our client (or contract with and
provide oversight to outside agencies), including press releases,
story pitches, content contributors, new hire announcements and
notices, other firm announcements, media spokespeople as
appropriate, media materials, and coordination with any outside PR
consultants; track published articles and consider social media
strategy around key projects.
The Ideal Candidate Has
At least 5-7 years of marketing and business/client development
experience, with a background in B2B professional services
marketing strongly preferred. The ability to write effectively for
a wide range of audiences and prepare specialized written material
such as proposals and pitches to support revenue-generating
opportunities; writing and copy editing is a key part of the job
and we are looking for someone compelling and amazing. A track
record of creating engaging content and marketing/communications
initiatives that establish thought leadership and help drive
qualified traffic/lead generation to support sales campaigns. A
proven record of strong leadership and consensus-building skills;
able to work well with team members across multiple industry
practices. Must show initiative, be highly organized, and be able
to manage multiple projects while prioritizing work assignments.
Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, and
interpersonal skills. Familiar with marketing analytics including
SEO and an ability to set goals, interpret metrics, and implement
projects that will improve online performance and visibility.
Proven ability to manage budgets. Strong judgment and aptitude to
make well-reasoned independent decisions. High degree of attention
to detail. Initiative and creativity, with a "get things done"
attitude; "Work Athlete" with a growth mindset - someone who is
coachable, innovative, focused, and can adapt. Comfort in a dynamic
environment, dealing calmly and effectively with situations under
deadlines. Ability to listen and "connect the dots" from one area
of the business to another. Willingness to "roll up your sleeves"
and get into the details.
