Job Description:
Cox Automotive is seeking a dedicated Automotive Body Shop
Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our body shop
department. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high standard
of service and quality that defines Cox Automotive. As a manager,
you will be responsible for leading a team of technicians and other
personnel, ensuring that all body shop activities are executed
efficiently and effectively. You will play a critical role in
driving customer satisfaction and operational profitability. The
ideal candidate for this position will have a robust background in
automotive body services, combined with exceptional leadership and
communication skills. Manage daily operations of the body shop
department, ensuring efficient workflow and quality repairs.
Supervise, train, and support body shop staff, including
technicians and administrative personnel. Ensure compliance with
all safety and environmental regulations. Develop and implement
processes to improve productivity and reduce costs. Handle customer
service issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction. Coordinate
with parts and supply vendors to manage inventory effectively.
Prepare and manage the department budget; set performance
objectives. Strong leadership and personnel management skills.
Expert knowledge of automotive body repair practices and
procedures. Proficiency with industry-standard tools and equipment.
Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to
manage budgets and understand financial statements. Medical

Excellence (ASE) in Collision Repair preferred.
