Staples is focused on our customer and our community. As a DevOps Engineer for Staples, you will mentor and support your development teams in best practices around operationalizing, including releasing and deploying, applications that run at scale.

Key Deliverables
Being the source of expertise on operational features, metrics, pipelines, alerting, and monitoring
Deploying and maintaining cloud-native, microservices as well as monolithic applications with CI/CD pipelines, promoting software into higher environments through validation and operational gating
Being the first line of support, monitoring support channels, troubleshooting, and correcting issues in collaboration with your other development team associates
Driving improvements to our platform's infrastructure, tooling, and release process
This role does have some on-call hours

Essential Skills And Experience
Can manage automated deployment, continuous integration, release engineering tools and application performance management tools
Proficiency in one or more scripting languages

Preferred Skills And Experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and its capabilities, including Azure Active Directory, App Gateways, App Services, and Service Fabric Cluster
Experience with Kubernetes/Docker container hosting and orchestration services
