Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Remote - 3696 San Francisco CA

Our client has created a B2C application that is used in more than half of US household and utilized by the top retailers and brands

What You Will Be Doing
Design, develop, test deploy and maintain application code
Work in partnership with a team of Data Scientists, peer engineering teams, Product, Business, etc.
Deliver services with quality, effectiveness, security, and budgetarily sound
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in your jurisdiction where ever they appear
Leverage modern monitoring/telemetry tools to identify, assess, and prioritize system issues
Work with Python, Go, Postgres, Redis, Kafka and others
Build efficient, adaptable and supportable architecture
Design, improve and document processes
Review and collaborate with other engineers on their code
Support your team through encouragement and by example
Maintain a high degree of ownership for all aspects of services
Mentor and share knowledge with the team
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and bringing the best to the team

What You Will Need
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
5+ Years of Software Development Experience
Demonstrated ability with complex data models
An ability to upgrade sub-par code as you encounter it
Able to design APIs that the REST principles
Experience with service-oriented architecture, micro-services, and distributed architectures
Proficient in Python and SQL
Experience in designing and creating highly adaptable distributed ML models
Extensive experience with machine learning and libraries
Able to condense complex data into more digestible data
You are ready to take on a more leadership-heavy role
Deep understanding of math, probability, statistics, algorithms, etc.
