Job Description:

Prodigy is seeking to fill a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer position in support of our client's initiative to upgrade all of their legacy systems to the cloud.
This role will involve engineering, optimization, support, and the migration of our client's applications and services as well as providing continuous improvement to their systems.In this role, you will work with our Cloud Architects when interviewing clients to understand application and infrastructure current state. Working with Cloud Architects leading client working sessions to identify, categorize, prioritize, and analyze data and information to work into cloud migration action plans. Working with the larger project teams to migrate legacy applications to their cloud platform. The Cloud Administrator must have expertise with Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Management).
Key responsibilities:

• Provide operations and migration services that enable the ability to tailor the availability and delivery of cloud computing services based on business and technical requirements
• Utilize automation tools to maintain application infrastructure such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar
• Assist with upgrading, installing, and configure monitoring solutions for Azure Windows servers
• Maintain gold images (AMIs) and infrastructure as code (IaC) via Terraform and CloudFormation
• Assisting with reporting on current infrastructure status, and planning for future usageMust Have Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline.
  • Azure Certification (Azure Associate / Intermediate Cert. OR Azure Certification) OR 2 years of relevant experience in one of the suite of tools (Science Logic, Dynatrace, Turbot, AppDynamics).
  • Must have experience with implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment.
  • Should have subject matter expertise with Microsoft Azure.
  • Able to pass a background check to obtain a Public Trust
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Experience automating provisioning and repetitive tasks, and implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates etc.
  • Experience monitoring site stability, deployments, performance via event logging and metrics (experience with monitoring services like Azure Log Analytics or COTS products like Splunk)
  • Experience developing and analyzing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical standards
