Support Engineer
Preferred Location:Plano, TX
Analyze functional and technical
specifications/Figma/swagger/acceptance criteria, Sequence diagrams
and other related requirement documents
Create / update API, Functional, Integration and End to End test
cases
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and follow agile Scrum
processes
API, Functional, Integration and end-to-end testing
Support STG/PROD releases and deployments
Initial analysis and triage of defects using application logs (ex.
Datadog logs / Charles, etc.)
Communicate with developers, architects and product owners
seamlessly for testing scope
Work with Automation testing teams to share use cases, test
scenarios and test data and support building robust automated
regression sets
Work with Performance testing teams to share test data and help
triage API issues during Load testing
Qualifications
SDET with experience in testing Rest APIs, Microservices and all
protocols including gRPC
Working experience on gRPC UI, Mobile Apps, Infotainment features
(Ex. BLE), Identity Management (Tokens / Authentication)
Knowledge of CICD process and tools to support Test Automation
Knowledge in API Automation with BDD framework
Knowledge and experience using Postman (Manual and Automation)
Knowledge in the Automotive domain and Experience in testing
Automotive features using test benches and In-vehicle testing
Knowledge and experience using Basic Linux Commands
Ability to create simple utilities to support QA Validations
Knowledge and experience using DBMS tools and SQL (ex. MongodB)
Knowledge and experience using agile management and test management
tools (ex. JIRA and Zephyr0
Knowledge and experience using CAN tools and flashing software
