Job Description Job Description Production Supervisor Fort Worth, TX | Full-Time | On-Site Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 (Based on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a driven and experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations within our HVAC manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will oversee production teams, optimize workflow, and ensure we meet our operational goals through Lean Manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support employee development. Enforce adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and company policies. Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste. Plan and maintain production schedules to meet delivery deadlines. Conduct routine equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance as needed. Manage inventory levels, material flow, and resource allocation. Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve production objectives. Track production metrics, generate reports, and recommend solutions for operational challenges. Qualifications Proven experience as a Production Supervisor (HVAC or manufacturing environment strongly preferred). Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies. Working knowledge of safety compliance, quality control standards, and manufacturing practices. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Proficient in production planning, scheduling, and data-driven decision making. Experience with equipment oversight, preventative maintenance, and inventory management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. With the HRA, Pottorff maintains a high deductible, high total out-of-pocket insurance policy to keep the cost down. Then, with the HRA, employees are reimbursed for 65% of their out-of-pocket expenses with a maximum out-of-pocket of approximately $2,572 per calendar year. Retirement 401(k) Plan with employer match of 75% of contributions up to 6% of salary. Discretionary bonus paid out annually in December of each year, with the amount dependent upon company's financial performance and based upon gross eligible wages as of December 1st. Paid Time Off Vacation Upon 6 months of employment 1 week 1 year of employment 2 weeks 2 - 4 years of employment 2 weeks 5 - 14 years of employment 3 weeks 15 years and thereafter 4 weeks 4 hours of sick time is accrued on the first day of each month up to a maximum of 40 hours per year. If at any time your current accrual balance is at 40 hours, new accruals will flow over into your Extended Leave benefit. Extended Leave may be accrued up to an unlimited amount of hours for the purpose of extended sick time needed for 5 or more consecutive days.
