In keeping with our entrepreneurial culture, the Director of Client Development - Life Sciences will have an opportunity to build and own a client portfolio focused in the Life Sciences industry while working in partnership with teammates to achieve key business objectives. ATTRIBUTES OF CONSULTANTS AT RGP* Demonstrates integrity and respect for people and opinions* Entrepreneurial and self-motivated--and driven to achieve--a comprehensive set of performance metrics and quantitative measures* Strategist and trusted business partner to the--client* Maintains an executive presence with a strong ability to interact with senior/C-level leaders* Excellent client service acumen* Demonstrated ability to generate--new--revenue--individually* Strong ability to build new business relationships* Strong personal identification with RGP's values - loyalty, integrity, focus, enthusiasm, accountability and talentKEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE* Accountable for the sales activity and results for a portfolio of new and existing business in the assigned territory* Develops and implements tactical plans to achieve portfolio sales goals and objectives* Conducts account planning and proactively seeks to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy* Owns and drives key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of RGP resources and enablers (including Technical Sales, Sales Support and Business Development), as appropriate* Accountable for the sales activity and results for a portfolio of new and existing business in the assigned territory* Develops and implements tactical plans to achieve portfolio sales goals and objectives* Conducts account planning and proactively seeks to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy* Owns and drives key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of RGP resources and enablers (including Technical Sales, Sales Support and Business Development), as appropriate* Accountable for the sales activity and results for a portfolio of new and existing business in the assigned territory* Develops and implements tactical plans to achieve portfolio sales goals and objectives* Conducts account planning and proactively seeks to bring innovative ideas and approaches to the account strategy* Owns and drives key strategic pursuits, leveraging the full range of RGP resources and enablers (including Technical Sales, Sales Support and Business Development), as appropriateDESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited institution or a Master's Degree is preferred 10+ years of sales experience selling into life sciences, pharmaceuticals, biotech and/or the medical device industries* Experience in client relationship management, identifying opportunities with clients, networking and generating leads* Ability to negotiate and concisely communicate both in writing and verbally, complex concepts/business issues to clients, consultants and management* Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent engagements and work streams with various clients* Proven success in creating revenue, building accounts and managing accounts* Proven aptitude for identifying opportunities and establishing and advancing a sales pipeline* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations* Advanced Salesforce user required; Salesforce Trailblazer preferredEqual Opportunity EmployerRGP is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
