Pay Information $2,110 per week About The Position Job Title: NICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:00 - 06:00) Experience: 2 years minimum experience required, previous travel experience preferred License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: NRP, BLS, and STABLE preferred Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience - EPIC experience required Description: The role requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The shift is three nights a week, with 12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 06:00. A minimum of two years of experience in the NICU is required. Previous travel nursing experience is preferred. The RN will care for patients in a 39-bed unit, with the potential to expand to a 16-bed unit. No surgical procedures are performed for this patient population, except for circumcisions and frenectomies. Retinopathy of prematurity exams are provided as needed. Donor breast milk is offered for specified patient populations. The unit has two full-time International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) and lactation peer counselors available.
