seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for a rewarding 8-week locum
tenens assignment in Texas, starting on Jul 29, 2025. This role
predominantly involves clinical duties (80-90%) with a component of
administrative responsibilities (10-20%). The flexible schedule
offers either one 10-hour shift or two 5-hour shifts per week,
based on what the provider prefers, ensuring a balanced work-life
integration. Job Details - Location: Texas - Start Date: Jul 29,
2025 - LOA: 8 weeks - Provider Type Needed: Family Nurse
Practitioner - Schedule: 1 10-hour shift or 2 5-hour shifts weekly
Responsibilities and Duties - Serve as a Medical Director,
overseeing both clinical and administrative functions. - Provide
comprehensive patient care in a correctional facility setting. -
Engage in clinical duties comprising 80-90% of the work time. -
Handle administrative responsibilities, making up 10-20% of the
role. - Ensure adherence to Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
and Basic Life Support (BLS) protocols. - Comply with all necessary
regulations and certifications, including DEA requirements.
Additional Information - Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner
in Texas. - Experience in correctional facilities preferred. -
