working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN
in Tyler, Texas, 75701! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:

License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Must-Have: - Epic charting experience required - Travel experience
required - Patient ratio experience of 2-3 Description: The
position involves working in a Medical Surgical ICU. The nurse will
be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:2. Experience in
Level I Trauma is preferred but not mandatory. The unit consists of
12 rooms. Weekend coverage is required, with a commitment of 6
shifts per 6-week period. Nurses will float to units of equal or
lesser acuity. Candidates should have previous charge experience.
Familiarity with community hospital settings is preferred. Skills
required include arterial line management, blood product
administration, and ventilator management. Nurses will assist with
various procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal and
management of CPAP/BiPAP. Candidates will have experience in
managing multi-system organ dysfunction/failure. Additional skills
in infection prevention and interpreting arterial blood gases are
necessary. Nurses will work within an interdisciplinary team that
includes physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates
should be prepared to manage a range of patient diagnoses commonly
