ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - PCU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week assignment length • Weekend schedule: every other weekend • On-call requirements: Yes • Floating policy: as needed to other units • 2 years of hospital experience required • 2 years of specialty experience required • PCU/Stepdown experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH • Active RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted) • MEDITECH experience preferred • Use MEDITECH documentation system • Work in PCU Telemetry unit on 7th floor • Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required • Clean and healthy nails only (no artificial nails, gel, or extensions) • Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer • Body art should be covered when possible • Visible piercings other than ears prohibited • Follow company-wide attendance policy Facility: This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides advanced patient care services including progressive care unit and telemetry monitoring.
