Job Description:
HCA Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory
Therapist PEDS NICU Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join
our healthcare team. This position is focused on providing
specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in
our state-of-the-art NICU facility. As a Respiratory Therapist at
HCA Healthcare, you will work within a dynamic team, using advanced
medical technology to directly support patient breathing and
cardiopulmonary functions. This role is pivotal in delivering the
high-quality, patient-centered care that HCA Healthcare is renowned
for across our nearly 2,000 sites of care. Assess, diagnose, and
treat infants and children in the NICU with respiratory disorders
and conditions. Operate and maintain various types of respiratory
care equipment including ventilators and incubators. Work
collaboratively with neonatologists and pediatric teams to develop
and implement comprehensive respiratory therapy plans. Educate
family members on patient care and respiratory therapy procedures.
Monitor patient response to therapies and make appropriate
adjustments as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and comply
with all legal and regulatory requirements. Expert knowledge of
respiratory care protocols and equipment Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
Empathy and patience with dealing with both pediatric patients and
their families Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
credential is required. BLS/ACLS certification from the American
Heart Association. Active state license as a respiratory care
practitioner.
