Job Description:

HCA Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Rad Technologist PRN to join our dynamic team at one of our leading facilities. This role is critical in providing radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnostic and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. The CT Rad Technologist PRN will operate CT equipment, prepare patients for examinations, and ensure that high-quality diagnostic images are produced efficiently while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning accurately and safely. Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients properly, and ensuring their comfort. Follow prescribed safety procedures to protect themselves, their patients, and coworkers from unnecessary exposure to radiation. Monitor patients throughout the procedures, ensuring their safety and immediate care if needed. Evaluate the images for quality and provide them to the appropriate medical staff for analysis.
