Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Gastroenterology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Registered Nurse – Gastroenterology Location: Waxahachie, TX Assignment Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (AM shift) On-Call: No Float/Weekend Requirements: Floating within the Waxahachie facility as needed Interview Type: 1-round via Teams Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support our Gastroenterology team for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care during colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bravo, and other gastroenterology procedures, including pain management procedures such as injections and implants. Required Qualifications: - Active RN license - BLS and ACLS certification - Minimum 2 years of RN experience in gastroenterology or procedural care - Experience with Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Bravo, and pain procedures Key Responsibilities: - Prepare patients and assist during gastroenterology procedures - Monitor patient vital signs and provide safe, effective care - Administer medications and assist with pain procedures - Document patient care accurately in electronic health records - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Skills & Competencies: - Strong knowledge of gastroenterology procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced procedural environment - Excellent patient communication and critical thinking skills - Flexible and able to float within the facility as required About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
