Job Title: Travel RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in ICU License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 2 years of ICU experience Experience with hemodynamic monitoring Experience with ventilated patients Post-CABG care experience Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in a high-acuity unit. The unit involves complex cases, including ECMO, heart transplant, and CABG. The nurse will manage critically ill patients and provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities include documenting patient information using a Meditech system. Nurses may be floated to other ICUs based on volume and acuity as needed. Bedside shift reports are mandatory, and updates to the whiteboard are required. Clean and healthy personal grooming standards are expected. Nail policy prohibits artificial nails and gel nails. Hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. All tattoos and body art should be covered when possible. Visible piercings other than earrings are not permitted.
