Job Description:

Ascension is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Surgical Tech CVOR for our travel team to support our faith-based mission of transforming healthcare through innovation and compassionate care. As a key member of our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team, you will work in a dynamic environment surrounded by supportive colleagues and state-of-the-art medical technology. This position requires traveling to different locations within our network to assist in surgeries that involve the heart, lungs, and other chest organs, providing the highest level of care to our patients. Assist in cardiovascular surgeries, providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the surgeon. Maintain sterile techniques while setting up and preparing operating rooms for surgeries. Operate clinical equipment, and monitor patient status during surgeries. Travel between hospitals within the network, adapting quickly to different teams and environments. Document and ensure accurate patient records and surgical notes. Manage surgical supplies inventory and ensure all equipment is operational and sterilized according to standards. Proficient in maintaining sterile environments Adept at operating and troubleshooting surgical equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
