Position Job Title: IR RT (R) / RCIS Scrub Tech Profession:
Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of IR
and Cath Lab experience required License: State license required
for ARRT-R, not RCIS Certifications: ACLS BLS ARRT R CCI RCIS
Must-Have: Electrophysiology Lab experience Experience with coiling
and embolization On-call availability required Description: This
position requires experience in interventional radiology and
catheterization laboratory procedures. Candidates must be familiar
with various procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, and
cardiac stent placement. Lead tech experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile field, preparation
of access sites, and scrubbing procedures. Knowledge of recognizing
life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. Candidates should have
experience with fluoroscopy and equipment setup. Additional
responsibilities may include central venous access and managing
vascular closure systems. Candidates will work with
interdisciplinary support services and handle adult and geriatric
patient populations. The daily census is approximately 12 patients,
and the unit typically has three procedural rooms. Orientation and
training will be provided, and adherence to sterile techniques is
required. Flu vaccination is required, with exemptions allowed for
