Job Details

We're looking to hire a Payroll and Benefits Manager who will be based in PST time zone. This person will assist in designing and executing the payroll and benefits programs for our clients. Responsibilities include administration of regular payrolls, state tax registration, benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, 401(k) plan.
PAYROLL/401(k)
High volume processing of bi-weekly payroll
Work with outside vendors
Conduct and respond to audits and related requests
Manage Federal & State inquiries
Payroll Tax preparations in collaboration with Finance
Bi-weekly 401(k) administration
Serve as point of contact/SME for employee payroll and 401k inquiries
ON/OFF BOARDING
Process new hires and terminations, promotions, increases and other changes
Ensure compliance with new hire paperwork
Serve as backup for weekly new hire orientation
BENEFITS
Conduct weekly new hire benefits orientation
Review and process monthly benefits invoices
Collaborate with benefits vendor partners to provide employee education (benefits, 401k, wellness)
Review and process monthly billing invoices for approval and payment
Research and recommend new and/or improved benefits offering for consideration and approval
Create and distribute monthly Employee Benefits Newsletters
Partner with HR team on employee wellness initiatives and programs
Serve as point of contact/SME for employee benefits inquiries
Support leaves of absence administration
COBRA administration
