Job Description:

The Associate Manager, Product Integrity (AMPI) position is a developmental role intended to prepare the incumbent for assignment as a Product Integrity Manager. The AMPI works under the direction of the Manager, Product Integrity and performs routine and project tasks in support of product quality, regulatory compliance and/or factory social compliance. The AMPI will be assigned to manage the quality and regulatory compliance of products in specified departments.
Major Activities Product Integrity Initiatives Support

• Collaborates with Product Integrity, Product Development and Category Management to develop and document product quality standards.
  Product Integrity Management (Assigned departments)
  • Collaborates with internal partners regarding product development, regulatory compliance, vendor meetings, etc.
  • Manages testing for assigned products, including appropriate testing approach, protocol, test groupings, corrective action plans and retests.
  • Assigns product designations, testing frequency and GCC/CPC requirement settings
  • Selects/approves items for inspection; reviews failed and "Pass & Hold" inspection reports; coordinates disposition
  • Reviews and approves product packaging for appropriate warnings and regulatory compliance
  • Investigates quality, safety, compliance or other product issues; assesses associated risks, determines root cause(s) and implements corrective actions.
  • Administers compliance chargebacks for assigned departments
  • Assists PI Managers with special projects, during absences and/or during times of peak workload.
  • Limited domestic travel

    Minimum Education
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Business, Legal, Quality Assurance, Product Integrity, Engineering, or Related Field
      Minimum Type of Experience the Job Requires
      • Minimum of 2 years total industry experience
      • Experience with consumer product testing, quality assurance and/or regulatory compliance
        --- Other
        • Experience with consumer product testing, product integrity, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, private Brand, product development and/or direct import experience is helpful.
        • Domestic and International travel may be required.
