Job Title: SDET-.NET/C# Developer
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Westlake TX,
Candidates in DFW preferred but could be open to remote
The SDET role will be responsible to test Web API calls and
services developed by the Estates Processing System team.
This role requires solid C#, .Net, Nunit, Selenium, and testing
tools experience along with a thorough understanding of QA
automation and performance test frameworks.
The candidate must have good QA process knowledge, Jira,
Confluence, and Spec Flow experience is a plus.-

whose main objective is to maintain all aspects of the overall
software development lifecycle and ensure the on-time, quality
delivery of software product releases.
This position will be part of the Digital Utility Technology team
at Schwab and we will focus on driving client-centricity, reducing
time to market & increasing efficiency.

What you'll do:
Provide accountability on the technical strategy for testing and
quality assurance on mission-critical enterprise applications
Develop and maintain enterprise scalable test automation
Promote excellent development practices for coded test
Design test automation for web services, APIs, and web-based
Partner with scrum team members to provide technical guidance on
creating agile test automation solutions, accelerating Schwab's
SDLC processes, and meeting critical business objectives.
Maintain tools used during test development including source
control, test management, and release systems
Mentor peers and staff on quality engineering, network with other
automation teams within and derive automation best practices for
Experience working with resources in different geographical
locations and vendor partnerships
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field -
5+ years of hands-on application programming and/or test
automation/framework experience in an agile development environment
Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
to partner technically with Application Architects, Development,
QA/Testing organizations, and Business teams -
Experience in developing or influencing the development of
automated framework(s) for enterprise-level functional and
regression testing is preferable -
Working knowledge of Agile, Iterative development process and/or
Rational Unified Process development methodologies is essential
Experience with Object-Oriented programming language C#.
Experience in BDD, TDD, or ATDD design techniques.
Exposure to Performance Testing with Jmeter.
Exposure to different Test Data Management techniques and
Passion for building solutions through automation, driven by
innovation and commitment to lifelong learning -
Familiar with Micro-Service and contract testing -
Database testing using Relational databases like SQL Server -
Experience with REST API service testing using tools, SOAPUI;
Advanced REST Client -
Knowledge on Pivotal Cloud Foundry -
Experience with CI /CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Zephyr, Bit
Bucket, Shell Scripting/PowerShell, Splunk;
