This position is part of our Product organisation and reports to the Head of Global Roadmap, and includes the following responsibilities:

  • Managing the project to deliver key objectives within time, budget, quality, benefits and risk.
  • Managing all resources required for the project through matrix management
  • Manage the workflow of the implementations and projects
  • Prepare, research information and define each project plan
  • Conduct project meetings with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of the project across the organisation.
  • Plan, monitor, control and report on key elements of the project across the organisation
  • Effectively manage project risks, issues and dependencies
  • Manage changes within the project
  • New card product market launch
  • Fraud and AML vendor integrations
  • Processor integrations
  • Card/Bank data integration and presentation
  • Card/Bank product operational efficiency

    Railsbank is growing very rapidly, but remains a small company in which staff are required to contribute to many aspects of their departments' roles in the wider business. The rate of change is very fast, and the role may also require work being undertaken, sometimes at short notice.


    What we look for in your professional skills You're likely to be educated to degree level or equivalent, with excellent communication skills (across all media) and possess the ability to 'get things done' in a flexible, dynamic organisation without having to rely on line-authority over other team members.
    Experience:
    • Financial services background
    • Knowledge of cards (debit/credit/prepaid) and card programme management is very useful
    • Structured project management methodologies inc Prince2, PMI, agile and waterfall.
    • Track record of successful delivery in project management roles
      Payment and card schemes experience such as UK faster Payments/UKFP, BACS, CHAPS, ACH, SEPA, SWIFT are highly desirable, as is any experience across the Card Management lifecycle, Card Processing knowledge, Card Manufacturing, BIN sponsorship knowledge
      The ability to build relationships with people at all levels internally and externally is required. Also the ability to work to tight deadlines, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral. Natural ability to cope with undertaking project work, sometimes at short notice.

      You have good organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast moving, dynamic environment that is fun, but serious as well (we are responsible for other people's money and we take this and our regulatory responsibilities very seriously).

      Role location and hoursThis role can be based in London, Munich, USA or Singapore.This is a full time role, however, like many companies, Railsbank's people are working at home due to Covid-19, but even when the pandemic passes, we will not return en-masse to offices, as we found this way of working to be highly productive and effective.
