As an Industrial Security Officer, you provide expertise in multi-discipline security services in a sensitive compartmented information facility (SCIF) environment. You act as the subject matter expert for our government client and exhibit the exceptional technical skills to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible. HOW AN INDUSTRIAL SECURITY OFFICER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: Managing the SCIF’s security profile, ensuring it meets standards to maintain its accreditation. Ensuring security systems protecting facilities and assets are maintained at 100% operating capacity. Identifying viable mitigation measures and corrective actions needed to regain minimum security standards where necessary. Administering the day-to-day security operations of the facility. Servicing customers. Overseeing the accountability and sustainment of high-value security systems to support the Government’s mission. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Required Experience: BA/BS and 10 years of experience, including 3 years of experience in SCIF management covering all disciplines. Required Skills and Abilities: Experience as a special security representative (SSR), contractor special security officer (CSSO) or facility security officer (FSO) with requisite certifications/course completions; detailed understanding of NISPOM, ICD 704, and ICD 705. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
