our team in support of the Department of Justice’s (DoJ)
groundbreaking program aimed at strengthening the infrastructure,
enhancing cybersecurity, and improving user experience across US
Marshals Service (USMS) districts. This IT modernization initiative
is a critical component of ensuring the effectiveness and security
of our nation’s law enforcement operations. We are looking for an
experienced Remote Device Specialist to join our team on this new

remote device support and security posture. Responsibilities:
Utilize remote wipe capabilities to securely erase data from lost
or stolen devices. Implement and manage device tracking systems to
locate and monitor devices in real-time. Configure and manage
devices remotely to ensure they are properly set up and compliant
with organizational policies. Develop and execute lost/stolen
response protocols to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
Provide remote support provisioning to end-users, ensuring they can
access and use their devices effectively. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to align remote device support strategies
with business objectives and IT strategies. Develop and maintain
comprehensive documentation for remote device support processes,
configurations, and procedures. Stay current with emerging remote
device management technologies, trends, and best practices.
Participate in the procurement and evaluation of remote device
management tools and software. Ensure compliance with industry
regulations and internal policies in all remote device support
efforts. Conduct regular reviews and audits of remote device
support processes to identify areas for improvement. Contribute to
the continuous improvement of remote device support strategies and
methodologies. Engage in knowledge-sharing activities and training
sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities. Qualifications:
Required: Active DoD Public Trust clearance or US citizen with
ability to obtain Public Trust upon hire Bachelor’s degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related
field. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Remote Device
Specialist or in a similar remote device support role. Proficiency
in utilizing remote wipe capabilities to secure devices. Experience
in implementing and managing device tracking systems. Strong skills
in remote configuration management of devices. Knowledge of
lost/stolen response protocols and best practices. Expertise in
providing remote support provisioning to end-users. In-depth
understanding of mobile device security principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Desired: Certifications
such as Mobile Device Management Professional (MDMP) or equivalent.
Experience with remote device management solutions (e.g., Microsoft
Intune, VMware Workspace ONE). Knowledge of endpoint security
solutions and mobile threat defense. Familiarity with
containerization and microservices architectures. Experience with
automation and scripting for remote device support processes. -

host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not
limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor
categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience,
specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

one location, the range shown is the national average for the
position. The proposed salary range for this position is:
