Job Description:
Position Overview The Legal Counsel, Integrity Health will
provide essential legal support to business units operating in the
healthcare space. This entry-level role focuses on contract
negotiation, dispute resolution, and delivering timely advice on
state and federal regulations impacting the sale of Medicare
Advantage, Part D, Medicare Supplement, ACA, ICHRA, and other
ancillary healthcare products. The position requires a strong
understanding of annual CMS guidelines and updates, as well as
regulations issued by state Departments of Insurance. The Manager,
Compliance will play a critical role in ensuring marketing and
advertising compliance within the healthcare space. This position
supports businesses that sell Medicare Advantage, Part D, Medicare
Supplement, ACA, ICHRA, and other ancillary healthcare products.
While this is not a people management role, the individual will act
as a trusted advisor to business units and collaborate closely with
the Directors of Compliance, Health and the Chief Compliance
Officer, Integrity Health. Key Responsibilities Legal Counsel,
Integrity Health Negotiate, draft, and review contracts to ensure
compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Assist in
resolving disputes and provide guidance on risk mitigation
strategies. Advise business units on current and emerging state and
federal regulations impacting healthcare product sales. Interpret
and communicate annual CMS guidelines and updates to internal
stakeholders. Monitor regulatory developments from state
Departments of Insurance and summarize implications for business
operations. Collaborate with compliance and operational teams to
implement best practices and maintain adherence to legal standards.
Manager – Compliance Provide regular compliance advice and best
practices to approximately 130 business units. Support the Chief
Compliance Officer, Health Segment with strategic compliance
initiatives. Conduct monthly site visits to business units to
assess compliance and provide guidance. Summarize and communicate
guidance published by CMS to internal stakeholders. Assist with
compliance audits and agent training programs. Deliver general
compliance advice across marketing and advertising activities.
Support other compliance functions as needed in a dynamic,
high-growth environment. Contribute to marketing-related compliance
policies and procedures, including annual updates. Support the
development and delivery of training programs focused on compliant
marketing practices. Support Directors and CCO on Enterprise Risk
Management (ERM) audit findings and remediation plans. Required
Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice
law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Strong interest in
healthcare law and regulatory compliance. Experience: 2–4 years in
compliant healthcare insurance sales support or Department of
Insurance experience. Skills: Excellent written and verbal
communication skills. Strong client-focused mindset. Ability to
multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, continuously changing
environment. Comfortable working in high-growth settings with
evolving compliance requirements. Ability to analyze complex
regulations and translate them into actionable guidance.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving
skills. Preferred Attributes Familiarity with CMS guidelines and
healthcare regulatory frameworks. Ability to interpret and
summarize complex compliance guidance for diverse audiences. Strong
organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Adaptable at using technology platforms for compliance tracking,
audit tools, etc. Experience (internships or coursework) in
contract law, healthcare law, or insurance regulation. About
