Job Description:

We currently have a Sr. Designer position available in our Dallas, TX office, focusing on high-rise multifamily residential and mixed-use projects. The Designer may assist in or lead multiple design projects, from initial concept through the design development phase. This professional's responsibilities will include collaborating with clients/consultants and the high-rise Design team to develop overall project design, ensuring design quality via precise documentation.Job Responsibilities: Assists with and/or provides leadership of projectsParticipates in client meetings and presents creative concepts to clientsCoordinate the completion of site plan and schematic design drawings for increasingly complex projects under supervision of the department headResearch applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projectCollaborate with project team members to ensure the drawings incorporate the client's program and reflect company design standardsLead project team coordination meetings and serve as the primary communicator with the client and consultants during the site plan and schematic design phaseParticipates in concept, schematic, and design development phases of the projectProduces plans, sections, elevations and working sketchesReviews the plat survey, topography, photos, market study and program requirements to produce land plansAdheres to time constraints and established deadlinesBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field required10 years of experience; Licensure is desirableMust have experience with small to large scale multifamily projectsMust have experience with laying out and detailing unit and floor plan designsMust have previous high-rise experience in order to conduct high-density studiesTechnical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop and Microsoft OfficeStrong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a low level of supervisionStrong graphic and verbal skillsAbility to listen and communicate with clients about prospective ideasAbility to present design work to key stakeholdersTravel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications:Licensure is desirable--Master's degree in architecture preferred
