Description:Responsibilities. Co-ordinate all daily activities
for Dallas Quality department. Co-ordinate internal Quality
inspections on raw materials, subcomponents and finished products
and instruct employees on procedures to be followed. Audit quality
technician operation logs / paperwork. Assist and train all Quality
Technicians on resolving problems relating to their quality
stations.. Co-ordinate lot control and traceability on all parts..
Ensure Visual / tactile boards are up to date and relevant..
Maintain or make available, stock of all necessary tags and forms..
Gather input required to support cost of quality analysis and
forward to management for review.. Assist with the design of
experiments. Facilitate and conduct training related to quality and
develop training material as required.. Ensure customer issues are
dealt with in required timeframe, and communicated to appropriate
personnel for closure.. Instruct all employees on quality
inspections, instruction procedures, and tests performed according
to quality system requirements.. Ensure that Quality System
requirements are continually followed by all employees within the
department.. Ensure all discrepancies or non-conforming parts
detected are communicated to management team and Team members..
Assist in the interview process when hiring within department..
Maintain positive employee relations and addresses issues in timely
manner. Seek advice/counsel from management as required.. Complete
hourly evaluations and EDPs as required. Oversee operations for
Quality Specialists and CMM programming and operation to ensure all
activities are performed and meet timing requirements.. Coordinate
quality coverage for all production activities and flex labor as
necessary.. Any other reasonable request made by management..
Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that
complements the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the
principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize,
standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.Skills:Ppap,

Details:supervisory skillsAutomotivemetrology experience with
metalAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Work Experience (provide
details and minimum # of years required). Minimum three (3) years
work-related experience in a Quality department coupled with
previous supervisory experience. Good understanding of Quality
System and ISO9001 quality systems and APQP relationship. General
working knowledge of inspection equipment i.e. high gauges,
verniers, calipers, micrometers, shadow grams etc. that assist in
the part inspection process Sound understanding of S.P.C. and
design experiments. Basic knowledge of tool design and maintenance,
materials and manufacturing processes. 5S requirements, Quality
tools, and Continuous Improvement methodologyExperience
