We are currently recruiting Temporary/Seasonal Manufacturing Associates to join our growing team at our Garland Assembly Plant. No experience is necessary - Andersen will train new employees on our manufacturing best practices. Our temporary opportunities have the ability to become full time positions dependent upon business needs and experience. Available shifts include: 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm), 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Starting Pay: Up to $13.00 an hour dependent on experience; with a shift differential (more pay) for 2nd and 3rd shifts. Responsibilities: Responsible for fabrication, assembly and managing the flow of material throughout the plant. Duties include but are not limited to: * Following all required safety practices and company standards * Operating manufacturing equipment and hand tools * Producing high quality work that conforms to standards * Able to work in a team environment * Participating in on-the job training initiatives and seeking out growth opportunities * Maintaining good attendance and punctuality * Supporting a respectful workplace Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * High school diploma, GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred * Previous experience in a manufacturing operation is a plus * Ability to work a flexible schedule including some overtime and weekends * Desire to learn new skills and cross-train in a fast-paced environment * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for duration of shift * Possess problem-solving, communication, teamwork, leadership and basic computer skills * Ability to read and understand reports Culture and Benefits: Andersen is committed to making a difference through challenging ourselves each day, recognizing and rewarding success, taking pride in our work and honoring a legacy built on doing the right thing.
