Are you an analytical revenue operations leader ready to drive impact for an EdTech innovator?
eSpark Learning is an adaptive learning program that helps teachers differentiate student instruction with activities kids love. Over 1.3 million students have benefited from eSpark's standards-aligned K-5 reading and math instruction. With the exponential growth of their user base, eSpark is searching for a data-driven Head of Revenue Operations to be a key support in their transition to a product-led growth company.
Reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Customer Success, the Head of Revenue Operations will create a data-driven operations framework to maximize the efficiency and impact of the sales, marketing, and customer support teams. This role will be the first hire on a RevOps team and will develop what the future of RevOps at eSpark looks like from the ground up. The ideal candidate will be a curious, data fluent thinker with a track record of taking ownership, initiative, and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
Major Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize data infrastructure and processes in all systems and tools related to a customer journey from a teacher using the product to becoming a paid partner
  • Design data flows across relevant functions including Sales, Marketing & Customer Success, and Product Usage to build a scalable, repeatable, data driven machine
  • Effectively leverage Salesforce as the hub to an optimized sales and marketing tech stack (HubSpot, Outreach, RingLead, Gong, Census, Product Usage, & BI tools etc.)
  • Provide analytical thought leadership for sales, marketing, and customer success plans as they convert trial usage to paid memberships at the school and district level
  • Proactively identify pain points and implement improvements to sales and marketing tools, systems, and processes
  • Ensure the integrity of data flows into company systems. Document data flow standard operating procedures to determine areas of improvement and identify bottlenecks
  • Conduct data analyses and provide expertise to identify problems, model solutions, and assist with strategic planning
  • Create and maintain reliable forecasting processes
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, account management, customer support, and product teams to help them rapidly execute and iterate
  • Hire and develop a team of top talent to build the RevOps function
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Proven track record in sales and/or revenue operations
    • Industry experience in EdTech and/or in SaaS freemium/trial-based products
    • Demonstrated success in implementing and using data from new processes, systems, and tools (e.g. CRM, sales and marketing automation, pricing tools, etc.)
    • Proven track record of building infrastructure for high-performing Sales, Marketing & Customer Success teams
    • Skilled in fluently connecting data from disparate sources
    • Excellent communicator with the ability to pull information from various sources, bring it all together, and clearly present to and get buy-in from multiple stakeholders
    • Track record of taking ownership, initiative and rolling up sleeves to get the job done
    • Consistently curious about why something works the way it does and why people do things the way they do---all with an eye on continuous improvement
