company) is expanding our Order Management Team. This role will be
based out of our facility, which is currently located in Garland,
Texas. However, we are growing and to support that growth, we will
be moving to a brand new facility in the fall located just 8 miles
away in Mesquite, Texas. Curries is headquartered in Mason City,
Iowa and is one of the largest manufacturers of steel doors and
frame openings for the healthcare, hospitality, educational, retail
and commercial industries. What would you do as our Order
Management Supervisor? As an Order Management Supervisor, you will
be responsible for leading an order management team that will be
configuring engineered-to-order products. You will play an integral
role in the overall success of your team and focus on ensuring
morale is kept positive and motivating while ensuring that orders
are accurately entered and processed in a time sensitive manner.
You would also:
- Ensure that all duties relating to the processing of customer
orders are done with a high degree of accuracy (orders range from
basic stock to highly configured) by your team.
- Jumping in and processing orders if the team needs assistance
or is falling behind
- Assist your team with any inquiries or customer problems while
maintaining metrics and KPIs
- Mentor and coach more junior members of the team. Help identify
knowledge gaps or opportunities for training.
- Create a positive culture and environment where feedback is
constructive
- Help to develop activities that keep morale positive and
motivated
- Follow up to ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and
thoroughly
- Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive
process improvements that positively impact the overall customer
experience
- Some overtime is required
- Perform other duties as required
- Continually promote a safe and harmonious working environment,
demonstrating strict adherence to the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
and ASSA ABLOY Health & Safety Policy The Skills and Experience you
need:
- High School Diploma or GED / Bachelors degree in Business or a
related field, preferred
- Proficiency with Math, Basic Geometry and Algebra skills would
help you excel
- Previous leadership experience with a demonstrated track-record
of accomplishing goals through your team is required
- Previous exposure to reading schematics, blueprints, renderings
or architectural drawings is highly desirable
- Excellent computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, Internet,
email, etc.)
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational,
follow-up and a sense of urgency are required
- Must excel working in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience/exposure to working within the Door,
Building Materials and/or Hollow Metal industries are highly
