Flame Lamination Operator

A laminating machine operator works with special equipment and materials to cover, strengthen, and protect paper items. As a laminating machine operator, your responsibilities include the setup of the laminating machine, performing safety checks, and ensuring the proper materials are in place. Your job duties are to operate the laminating machine, maintain the rollers and materials, read job tickets and specifications, input the correct settings, monitor equipment, and troubleshoot any problems that arise during operation of the laminating machine.

Responsibilities:

Check the machine for safety.

Set up machine (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start production cycle.
Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.

Reviews production orders to determine what materials are needed or if any special instructions should be followed to complete the order.

Reviews appropriate lamination set-up sheets, control plans and SOP's to determine how to set-up the lamination machine and how to process the products through the machine.
Monitors the quality of the product being laminated.
Loads raw materials and unloads finished materials from the machine.

Requirements:



Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
Understanding of production procedures

Pay range: 19.00 to 21.00
