Title: Disaster Recovery SpecialistLocation: REMOTE (EST)Duration: 6 month extending contract, permanent possibleMust Haves:- Bachelor's Degree or Associate's (Ideally in a related field)- 1-3+ years of Disaster Recovery experience- Experience working with technical Disaster Recovery tools (Continuity Logic, BC in the Cloud)-Cloud experience - working within a cloud environment (AWS/Azure/GCP)Plusses:- Riskonnect- RansomWare- Disaster Recovery in GCP / Cloud experience- Retail experience- Infrastructure IT backgroundPosition Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Disaster Recovery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure the continuity of critical business functions. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and processes.
• Coordinate and conduct regular disaster recovery testing and drills.
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure disaster recovery plans align with business continuity requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging threats and vulnerabilities to update recovery plans accordingly.
• Provide training and awareness programs for staff on disaster recovery protocols.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation of disaster recovery processes and procedures.
• Assist in the development of incident response plans and coordinate recovery efforts during actual incidents.Compensation: $40.00-55.00/HR
