TechnicianShift: THIRD (training is on SECOND) *Must be available
for any shift*Pay Rate: $16.00 - 28.00 / hr (depending on

as a Maintenance Technician:As a Manufacturing and Production
Maintenance Technician, you will: Maintain production and quality
by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical
equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the
following:* Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits
and equipment.* New equipment installation, repair and modification
of existing plant equipment and/or components.* Isolates defects in
wiring, switches, motors, and other electrical equipment.* Performs
duties using ammeter, ohmmeter, voltmeter, and/or testing lamp.*
Performs repairs and modifications as directed by maintenance
supervisor.* Replaces faulty switches, selects, and other elements
of electrical systems. Will specify, install, troubleshoot, repair
and calibrate electrical equipment, instrumentation and controls.*
Inspects equipment and diagnoses trouble.* will be involved with
day-to-day maintenance of the manufacturing facility* Dismantles
electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or
mechanical parts such as gear's, bushes, and armatures.* Mount
motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and
completes circuits according to diagram specifications.* Inspects
completed work and ensures that work conforms to requirements of
local building and safety codes.* Responsible for conducting all
works in a safe, clean, and orderly manner. Accurately complete all
work according to SOP's and work instructions, including proper
documentation.* Must have a working knowledge of shop, hand, and
power tools as well as equipment used for testing, calibrating,
repairing, and maintaining electrical production equipment,
instruments, and controls.* May perform other duties as requested.*
May participate in project teams as requested.* Ensures operation
of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive
maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools,
conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams,
sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and
engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.* Locates
sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation;
listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing
instruments.* Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using
hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining the form and
texture of parts.* Determines changes in dimensional requirements
of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers,
micrometers, and other measuring instruments.* Adjusts functional
parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools,
levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.* Controls downtime by
informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance
techniques; monitoring compliance.* Fabricates repair parts by
using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.* Maintains
equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to
determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts,
and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.*
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as
needed to accomplish job results.* Provides mechanical maintenance
information by answering questions and requests.* Prepares
mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and
summarizing information and trends.* Maintains technical knowledge
by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical
publications; establishing personal networks.* Maintains continuity
among work teams by documenting and communicating actions,
irregularities, and continuing needs.* Maintains safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations.* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related
results as neededWork Experience * Maintenance Technicians must
have 3 years of electrical experience and be very familiar with
PLC's (programmable logic controllers).* Must have HSD/GED and
electrical apprenticeship program or Associates in Electrical
Field.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:Language Skills: Ability to
read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and
memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability
to present information in one-on-one situations to customers and
other employees. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply
and divide in all units of measure, whole numbers, fi-actions, &
decimals. Other Skills: Knowledge of mechanics, shop math, and
machinery procedures. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints,
electrical schematics, and engineering specifications. Must
understand electricity, respect and follow safety guidelines,
should be familiar with National Electrical Code and experienced
with Hazardous Environment, Class I Division I Electrical
Classification standards.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands

regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently
required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands

sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Lifting Frequency: Occasional
heavy lifting 100 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or
carrying objects up to 50 lbs.Vision: Specific vision abilities
required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color'
vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to
adjust focus.Repetitive Hand Action: Firm grasping - the ability to
exert sufficient grip to pick up a case of 12 oz. soft drinks or to
pick up a bowling ball. Acquires approximate grip strength of 45-60
lbs. on a hand dynamometer.Fine Manipulation of Hands/Finger's:
Sufficient coordination to place and screw a small washer on a
bolt, to pick-up clip from a desktop, or pick up a dime off a
countertop. Use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or
controls; reach with hands and areas. Ability to work in two (2)
person teams.WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics
