Fidelity TalentSource is looking for a Due Diligence Analyst at Fidelity Investments. This position is based out of Westlake, Texas.This is a six month contract.The Due Diligence Investigations group provides discreet investigative support to various Fidelity business units to identify, mitigate and manage risk associated with existing and potential third party business relationships, including vendors, financial services firms, and potential investments, among others. The group also provides litigation support, competitive intelligence, background and ad-hoc investigative support, as deemed appropriate by GSI's senior leadership team.The Due Diligence Analyst is responsible for developing case investigative strategies and analyses in accordance with the goals and objectives of the department, as well as the objectives of the requesting client. The group manager or one of the group's other senior members will have direct line supervision for the position and encourages creative thinking, innovative investigative planning/analysis and efficient case management.Primary responsibilities include the following:* Conduct open source intelligence (OSINT) research on a range of investigative issues, to include media, Internet, database research, litigation inquiries and verification of licensing requirements/regulatory compliance.* Analyze research findings to identify risks associated with proposed and existing client relationships.* Prepare investigative reports that are detailed, timely, well-written and logical.* Manage client relationships to maintain high level of service standards; identify and develop opportunities to enhance relationships with existing clients.* Manage a challenging case load while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.* Perform ad-hoc projects and investigative research upon request.Education and Experience:* Bachelor's degree preferred.* A minimum of 2 years of progressive investigative experience is preferred; experience in either law enforcement, the financial industry, accounting/audit, or litigation support/consulting is a plus.Skills and Knowledge:* Demonstrated ability to conduct research on a range of investigative issues, including complex and high profile investigations, expeditiously resolving these requests accurately utilizing multiple systems.* Proven fact gathering capabilities, along with strong quantitative and qualitative assessment skills for information acquired, in all forms, are required.* Outstanding business writing and oral communication skills.* Build relationships within the team and internal business partners* Strong computer skills (working knowledge of on-line database systems and Microsoft Office suite)* Excellent time management skills* Strong work ethic* Dedication and commitment to excellence.* Prior legal research and/or familiarity with state/federal court systems or court procedures is a plus.
