An opportunity has become available to join our Flower Mound based transport team as Account Manager.About the role: * Based at our 200,000 sq. ft. super-site in Flower Mound, you will act as the key point of contact for a defined group of customers, taking ownership of their service experience, while building strong relationships along the way.* Your day to day responsibilities will consist of routing, monitoring, and troubleshooting domestic transport shipments to maximize profitability while exceeding customer expectations. * Supported by our Sales team, you will assist in developing and implementing ideas that drive ongoing improvement, along with participating in virtual and face to face customer business reviews.About the candidate:* A strong understanding of the fundamentals of domestic transport, preferably gained through experience in LTL transportation or ground freight forwarding.* Suburb organization, written and verbal communication skills.* The ability to work effectively as part of team, and to relate to a wide variety of people. * The confidence to roll with the punches and embrace a fast paced and ever-changing environment while keeping a smile on your face.Mainfreight perks:* Competitive Salary.* Top tier benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance.* Team lunches in our full service kitchen.Annual and Christmas bonuses linked to the profitability of our local branch
