Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in
maintaining efficient operation of ammonia refrigeration, fire
protection, warehouse equipment, dock equipment and storage
racking; including upkeep of building and grounds (i.e. lawn care,
landscaping and snow removal).
Work schedule Tuesday - Saturday (Sun-Mon off)
second shift - hours may vary, starting at 12pm or 1pm till

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement procedures for preventative, corrective,
and emergency maintenance for ammonia refrigeration systems
equipment and warehouse equipment.
- Monitor preventive maintenance logs and check lists
- Schedule and monitor work of outside contractors work as
- Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints,
specifications, and standards.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet company needs.
- Interdepartmental communications and coordination with all
operations areas to maintain proper, efficient work flow processes
- Develop and maintain departmental budget for responsible area
based on Senior Management approval.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
preferred; or five years maintenance related experience and/or
training, specifically in ammonia refrigeration; or equivalent
combination of education and experience. Five years experience in
Maintenance at the Supervisory level, specifically in ammonia

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certification on material handling equipment or ability to become
certified. Required to complete supervisory training program.
Electrical experience preferred.

The work environment characteristics described here represent those

functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the
associate is regularly exposed to fast moving material handling
equipment or other mechanical equipment. The associate is
frequently exposed to freezer/cooler warehouse environments. The
associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions;
high, precarious places; vehicle emissions; toxic or caustic
chemicals; outside weather conditions; high voltage electrical
equipment and vibration. The noise level in the work environment
usually is loud.

This is a full-time position. The incumbent must have the ability
