Summary:
Sets up the machines to mix or blend materials to create color for
ceramic products
Duties and Responsibilities:
Weighing materials to ensure conformance to requirements
Conducting a color analysis of tone and paste
Verifying and documenting tests per production line sample
pieces
Starting machines to mix of blend ingredients and then allowing
them to mix for specified times
Documenting results from test on designated forms and summarizing
daily activities in log book
Conducting raw materials tests
Running line tests
Other duties may be assigned
Shift Hours:
Day and Night shifts available
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED and/or experience
Good written and oral communication skills
Basic mathematical skills such as averaging, percentages, ratios,
addition, and subtraction
Problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and
weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to
problems
Computer Skills
Detail orientated

Work Environment
The noise level in the workplace is usually high
The work environment is not climate controlled (exposure to low and
high temperatures)
Moderate exposure to dust
