Because of this, we're growing and looking for friendly, pet-loving humans to join our Veterinary CSR team. You'll be responsible for concierge-style customer service and impeccable client care. You'll work in tandem with our Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians to provide our clients and patients with excellent veterinary experiences in a loving and welcoming environment.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phone calls, assisting clients with joining the WaitList, scheduling surgical appointments, and answering general pet questions
  • Checking clients in and out and ensuring all needs have been met
  • Entering and updating client information and patient records
  • Responding to or forwarding E-mails (help us reach inbox zero every day!)
  • Interpreting Veterinarian orders and our protocols to educate clients and explain requirements
  • Visually assessing patients in the lobby and alerting hospital staff in the event of an emergency
  • Preparing documents for imaging/scanning into our electronic patient records
  • Copying, faxing, and emailing documents to clients or physician offices
  • Tackling other projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!)Benefits offered:

      • High school diploma or GED required
      • Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, Veterinarians and hospital team. (It's okay if you talk to animals, too!)
      • Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and the ability to manage numerous calls
      • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and move freely for extended periods of timeIdeally, you have:
        • Experience as a veterinary receptionist preferred but not required
        • Pets of your own (empathy vs. sympathy)
        • Flexible availability
