HPC Commercial Sales Representative AMERICAS - Remote
The ability to effectively focus a significant amount of computational power on solving critical problems through the use of artificial intelligence, data analytics and modeling/simulation techniques is vital to many scientific, commercial, and government organizations, and it is the mission of Cornelis Networks to deliver innovative purpose-built interconnect solutions that enable our customers to optimally apply vast computational resources to solve the world's toughest problems.

On the Cornelis Networks Americas sales team, you will help define and drive an Americas sales plan to pursue HPC/AI end clients in a highly competitive environment. The primary territory focal areas are manufacturing, energy, life sciences, financial services, media and entertainment and other jointly identified industries. You will position Cornelis Omni-Path products and software in conjunction with our key partner solutions offerings and strive to build a strong client business relationships and results. While contributing significant growth in our business, you'll be expected to expertly communicate and develop loyalty and collaboration within your clients and your Cornelis teammates.
This position requires a "hunger" and a "hunter" sales aptitude. KPI's will include building a positive reputation, loyalty and trust within your accounts' key stakeholders and decision makers. Collaboration with our global partners will align our strategies and grow our businesses.
You will be joining a team of successful, highly reputed, and motivated industry professionals with diverse backgrounds in sales and technical HPC & AI. We collectively are driving Cornelis as a client centered organization to become an industry gold standard.

These are your day-to-day responsibilities:
Research and identify new HPC & AI opportunities through a thorough understanding of your clients' objectives, requirements and success factors. Translate client information into successful internal requirements and contribute to product and project plans in a strong collaborative environment of technical and sales peers.
Progress opportunities by consulting your clients based on our HPC & AI solutions portfolio, including future technologies and roadmap developments. A golden achievement is our clients specifying Cornelis solutions as either written into RFP specifications and/or client preferred sourcing for Cornelis solutions via our global partners ecosystem.
Teaming with your Cornelis colleagues and business partners to prepare and submit convincing high-quality proposals. Your work includes, working with your technical peers to turn their solution configurations into competitively priced and winning offerings.
Create "Raving Fans" by ensuring your daily interactions are meeting and exceeding expectations. Some quick examples are: coordinating with ISR's to ensure timely quotes are provided, coordinating with global supply chain team for timely deliveries, jointly identifying challenges while swiftly leading efforts to reasonable collaborative resolutions and correct communications to the clients -internally and externally.
Ensuring accurate forecasts align with management expectations to ensure we meet client expectations and reduce risks and exposure.
Nurturing your professional network and ecosystem with key OEMs for teaming up to pursue exciting new market developments and conducting joint go-to-market activities.

What you'll bring/ Position Requirements:
10+ years' experience and proven record of accomplishments including new client attainment, and excelling against revenue growth and quotas in complex selling environments.
Experience selling IT solutions, preferably with an emphasis on or aspects including networking and/or storage offerings.
Experience in the areas of HPC and AI is required.
HPC and AI infrastructure technical acumen and familiarity with the complex environments knowledge of compute, interconnect, storage workloads and workflows.
Solid enterprise negotiation skills, analytical skills, business and financial insights, and knowledge of contracts,
Ability to build effective virtual teams and drive results via others in a complex cross-functional organization.
Must be a self-starter in our start-up environment. Must have strong personal organizational skills and innate ability in managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Computer Science, Business, or related fields Degree preferred, technical certifications and/or advanced degree(s).

Location
Cornelis Networks fully supports remote employees. When safe, we encourage 25-50% travel for client site meetings, conferences, symposiums, and our offices, for in-person collaboration and meetings.
