Regional Sales Enablement is a sales operations position with a
solid line to NFP's Corporate Development team. This position will
require the ability to partner with both regional and corporate
employees across business lines and at all seniority levels as well
as external client interaction in the form of sales support,
requiring an adaptive, collaborative personality that is invested
in the success of others as much as in their own personal
success.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe role will be
tasked with developing a strategic plan for their assigned region
in cooperation with Sales Managers, Regional Leaders and sellers
that drives growth in integrated and new sales through the
development and dissemination of sales tools, support and
reinforcement of sales training initiatives with regional producers
and development of targeted solution campaigns in cooperation with
NFP's specialty platforms and business lines.
- Develop regional business plans that achieve and exceed role
specific targets for producer growth in their assigned
territory
- Goals can include integrated selling targets, specialty
platform growth in region, new producer velocity to profitability,
etc
- Collaborate and partner closely with regional specialists and
national/field marketing teams to develop materials to achieve
sales goals
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry trends, regulations,
advanced sales / marketing concepts and company products and
platform offerings for use in supporting sales efforts
- Identify potential strategic partners, alliances and
relationships to expand core product lines and services
- Mentor and assist Producers in placing business and developing
sales and consulting skills
- Continually foster team culture with and between business
functions and departments
- Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Strong technical sales skills with a demonstrated track record
of collaboration and partnership across NFP
- Ability to establish a strong communication link and
credibility with client management teams through the highest level
of professionalism, ethics, integrity, mutual respect, and
value-added approach
- Ability to articulate professionally verbally and in writing
with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with creative thinking in a fast-paced
environment
- Demonstrated record of initiative, problem-solving and
adaptability
- Passionate about business results, with a strong sense of
accountability, metrics and ownership
- Ability to work independently and anticipate seller and team
needs
- Strong organization skills including time management, effective
negotiation, etc
- Strong systems skills including Salesforce/Client Relationship
Management Systems, Microsoft Office, etc
- Familiarity with social media platforms and social selling
concepts
- Ability to travel up to 50%Education And/or Experience
- 5+ years of Commercial Risk preferred or Health and Welfare
consulting experience within an insurance broker environment is
required
- 5+ years of experience in Sales / Business Development as a key
initiator driving business development planning and execution and
reviewing books of business
- Knowledge of risk, benefits administration, industry trends,
carrier products and servicesCertificates, Licenses, Registration
- Appropriate Life and Health or P&C license requiredWhat We
