RECARO Aircraft Seating, a leader in the innovation of aircraft seats, is looking for a dedicated Buyer to join our supply chain team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our production lines are equipped with high-quality materials that meet our specific requirements for passenger comfort, weight reduction, and superior craftsmanship. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and will contribute to the efficient procurement of aircraft seat components, prioritizing cost-effectiveness and strategic supplier relations. Evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to supply product in accordance with RECARO's cost, quality, and delivery specifications. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to meet quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Issue purchase orders and manage the total procurement process. Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with RECARO’s quality standards. Collaborate with the engineering and design teams to identify potential new suppliers and materials. Monitor market trends that can affect supply and demand, and use this information to make informed purchasing decisions. Maintain detailed records of all procurement activities for compliance and auditing purposes. Strong negotiation skills Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to analyze and solve problems effectively Strong organizational and time management skills Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
